After growing through my own experiences as a queer woman navigating relationships throughout the past 30 years, I've come to understand the unique dynamics that many queer women experience in romantic partnerships. My vision for The Real Poetic Paradox, LLC is to offer this community a deeper understanding of how early childhood experiences and conditioning can impact queer adult relationships. To bring greater awareness of what's happening in our nervous systems when we begin to feel unsafe in love, which often leads to heartbreak and confusion. My work as a therapist and relationship coach for more than 15 years has given me the skills to offer wisdom that's grounded, compassionate, and authentic. The paradoxes of longing & independence, tenderness & self-protection, and desire & fear, give us insight into the complex dynamics that also include the intersections of identities and expression, what it means to "come out" later in life, and a further understanding of attachment dynamics that are unique to the LGBTQIA+ community. I hope that the work offers a place for community, validation, and empathy, while it also reduces the shame and stigma often connected to our lived experiences. I do hope you will stay.
